MISSION STATEMENT
OUR AIMS
To be a Christian Church:-
* which worships God in a vital way
* where everyone is welcomed and accepted
* where faith in Christ is a growing experience through prayer, Bible study, fellowship and Holy Communion
* which expects the Holy Spirit to be at work.
OUR COMMITMENT
to share in God's mission locally, nationally and worldwide by:-
* announcing the good news of God's love and inviting others to
follow Jesus Christ
* caring service in our community
* joining in the struggle for justice, freedom and peace
* responsible use of God's resources and gifts
* working closely with people of other churches and groups
OUR PRIORITIES FOR 2009-10
How well are we doing ??
1. To continue to offer and develop in a range of settings worship that is varied and relevant to all ages.
2. To further develop ways to nuture and teach the faith to all ages in ways that are exciting and challenging
3. To further develop ways of enabling people to relate their faith to everyday life and communicate it to others
4. Along with our ecumenical partners, to continue to serve one another and the community by offering the love of God in practical ways, particularly at times of need.
5. To seek the Holy Spirit's guidance in order to develop and explore further ways of enabling others to discover Jesus in their lives.
6. To look at ways in which our premises can be further developed to accommodate a growing church.
