Toast and... well.. more toast
Yeh, yeh. We eat a lot of toast - as much as we can - with lashings of butter, jam, nutella & peanut butter. If it's someone's birthday, then there's cake too! We catch up on the week's events together, some notices and then do activities around a theme with Richard, our youth leader.
IXTH HOUR
IXth Hour is a monthly event that attracts young people to come together and worship God in a safe environment.
RS News
Then there's trips together too. We've recently been kayaking on the River Tyne, Ten Pin Bowling and to the cinema.

We have just started sponsoring Josè, a 16 year old boy in Bolivia, through the Christian Charity Compassion. We are looking forward to sending him letters, photos and postcards and receiving news from him too. We have some fund-raising ideas in the pipeline to help Josè and his family.
In the summer we get involved painting faces or saving penalties at the Jump 4 Joy event and we also help out at the Children's Summer Holiday Club!
Rock Solid now have their own YOuTh WoRsHiP BaNd which meet to rehearse on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 5pm in the upper room of Wylam Methodist Church! Speak to Joanne, Rock Solid leader, for more info
New people are always welcome to join us at Rock Solid. Each session is only 50p (and small contributions to Josè's jar are always appreciated too).
ROCK SOLID aims to explore the Christian faith in a way that is relevant to young people through friendship, fun and activities.
