New for 2012

'Twitter' and 'Lads with Dads'

Lads with Dads

Quite simply its an opportunity for lads, their dads (and ladettes) to spend some quality time together with other like-minded people by partaking in a variety of activities.  Initially, the dads will meet up to discussus some housekeeping stuff  like what are the upper and lower age limits?  Should there be a membership?  that kind of thing.

Because Lads with Dads is a project run on behalf of local churches there will be a spiritual dimension to each event.  I hope we can be creative with this element, but we can work that out as we go along.

Find out more info and look up recent posts on the Lads with Dads blog or follow us on Twitter @ladswithdads.

October 29th -31st  Bassenfell, Manor , Bassenthwaite

A really excellent weekend in wonderful surroundings. All of us were stunned by the glorious colours of the lake district in October. We participated in a wide range of activities, rock climbing, archery, tree climbing, abseiling , zip wiring, etc. The bonfire was special on Saturday night as was the procession of lanterns to it. We enjoyed walking and worshipping together, ..and eating! So some of us already can't wait til next year!!
